Defining a Word Through Fine Art

I'm using this blog post to bring attention to the fine art world on Etsy by choosing one word and posting how different artists present it through their work.

I just love an old barn. Any old barn will do. They're part of our heritage as Americans. Our ancestors all forged the frontier and ultimately needed to put up a barn on their land. You can go into any state and find them and they all seem to look different, no two are alike. That is just cool. Kind of like us, there are no two humans alike (even twins have their differences). I tend to like anything old anyway and I have a number of old barn photographs in my Etsy shop. I'm willing to bet many of you out there are drawn to old barns as well. If any of you are in Europe, Australia, Canada or someplace else you have barns in your neck of the woods, too. And they look different from American barns. So, I'm sure you've guessed what this week's word is . . .
